Using “na te mea”




Na te mea = because

WALT: use na te mea to describe why i feel this way

SC:
  1. Show a simple sentence that describes your ahua, pouri, harikoa
  2. Use the contraction na te mea…
  3. Your reason for your ahau.




  1. I am happy because i'm going to Hamilton
     E harikoa ana ahau na te mea ka haere ahau ki Kirikiriroa.
  1. I am sad because i hurt my leg
    E pouri ana ahau na te mea e mamae ana toku waewae.
 
  1. I am sick because the weather is very cold
     E mauiui ana ahau na te mea he tino makariri te rangi.

  4. I am angry because im sick.

    E riri ana ahau na te mea he tino mauiui ahau.

    I like how you have lots of information,I also like how you have big words so people know what you are talking about.
    Next time you could use capital letters and full stops in the right place.
    We have a bilingual classroom at our school where they use Te Reo during the day. I am still learning my Mihi. Do you know yours?
